Room Hire Fees

Therapy Room – (room dimensions 5.5m x 3.7m)

This room is recommended for use by up to 8 persons for classes, consultations, workshops and massage therapies.

a) Room Hirer with one client only:

£10 per hour or £35 for a 4-hour time period
9am till 1pm
1pm till 5pm
5pm till 9pm
These times can be varied by agreement in advance of booking.
Full day rate £64

b) Room Hirer with more than one client:

£12.50 per hour or £42 for a 4-hour time period
9am till 1pm
1pm till 5pm
5pm till 9pm
These times can be varied by agreement in advance of booking.
Full day rate £80

Studio Room – (room dimensions 7.3 x 3.7m)

This room is recommended for use by up to 12 persons for larger classes, workshops, Yoga and Pilates.

£17 per hour or £60 for a 4 hour block
9am till 1pm
1pm till 5pm
5pm till 9pm
These times can be varied by agreement in advance of booking.
Full day rate £110

Room Booking and Payment Arrangements

Bookings made within 4 days of the room hire commencement time (weekends included) must be paid in full within 24 hours of the room booking being made.  In the event of cancellation by the room hirer, there will be a non-refundable charge of 50% of the room hire fee.

Bookings made greater than 4 days before the room hire commencement time (weekends included); in the event of cancellation by the room hirer will be subject to a 20% non-refundable charge.

If notice of cancellation is received 14 days in advance, then the booking can be transferred to another available time period.

All room hires require a minimum payment of 20% at the time of booking to secure the room space.  In the event of cancellation by the room hirer, this deposit payment can be transferred to another time period, provided that the cancellation is made at least 14 days in advance of the room hire commencement time.

All bookings are to be paid in full within 4 days of the room hire commencement time.  There is an option to pay regular monthly room hires by Standing Order

Indemnity Insurance

The room hirer must produce in advance of room hire a copy of their indemnity insurance with a cover level not less than £2m.

GUIDANCE FOR ROOM USE

To ensure the smooth running of your occupancy period please note the following information.

Security

  • Ensure that you are in possession of the lock codes for the outside gate and the inner vestibule door lock before the day of the booking. Without the locking codes you will not be able to get in to the building.
  • Do not leave the inner vestibule glass panelled door unlocked at any time. Check that the door has automatically locked when it has closed.
  • Note that to open the inner vestibule door from the inside, you have to use both
  • When you leave the clinic ensure that you padlock the gate, unless you are satisfied that one of the other basement rooms is still in use by another party.
  • The room hirer/practitioner is responsible for the correct identification of their client accessing the Therapy Centre. Do not allow free access to anyone else.

Awareness of Other Users

  • Room hirers should be aware that there are other people working in the Therapy Centre. You should therefore endeavour to keep noise levels to a minimum.
  • There are separate Ladies and Gents toilets in the corridor. Please be aware that these facilities are used by the business on the upper floors.
  • The use of the staircase to the upper floors in prohibited.

Housekeeping

Please inform me of any special requirements you may need for the room or equipment needed in advance of your booking.

  • Please alert me to any maintenance or other issues that need attention.
  • Please leave the room clean and tidy. Place any rubbish generated in the bin in the kitchen
  • Please return furniture to original position before you vacate the room.
  • Please be aware that there are no reception facilities available. Therefore room hirers should be available to answer the door to their clients.
  • Please advise me of any breakages or spillages occurring during you room hire.
  • Please ensure that if you use the Kitchen you wash all glasses and cups etc. and place them on the kitchen sink drainer.

Resources Available For Use

  • 10 folding chairs
  • 3 Massage tables with adjustable face rests
  • CD/Tape player. (Room hirers to supply their own CD’s/Cassettes)
  • Kettle is available in the small kitchen.
  • Cups, water glasses and a water jug will be available for use.
  • Flipchart frame (paper not included)
  • 10 yoga mats
  • 12 yoga blocks
  • Cushions and blankets

Note that towels, bed roll and oils are not supplied.
