Not many people spend time thinking about how they breathe, yet when you do, you quickly realise just how important breathing is. We can go a month or so without food, a few days without water yet a few minutes not breathing and you’ll quickly find yourself in a lot of trouble!
So whilst there are entire industries built upon the quality of what we eat and drink, there is currently very little attention placed on the quality of how we breathe. Interesting, huh?
Better still we can directly change how we feel in any moment just by the way we breathe!
In fact why not do it now? Stop reading and take 3 slow, deep breaths. Inhale for a count of 6, hold for a count of 2 exhale for a count of 8. Feel any different?
As we consciously slow our breath down we are directly communicating to our nervous system that we are safe and can relax.
Practicing Transformational Breath® takes the benefits of breathing better to a whole new level. In fact a facilitated session is one of the most powerful ways of learning the technique of an open and flowing breath and can even be a doorway into a new experience of living, as it was for me.
And the best thing about breath work? Unlike many other healing practices, you don’t have to talk about your experiences. You can just resolve issues just by breathing without having to explain yourself or risk sharing anything you feel uncomfortable talking about – how much of a relief is that?!
What does a session involve?

All you need for a session is loose comfortable clothing and an open mind.
Lasting between 1 ½ -2 hours during the session I will help you set your unique intention for the session before guiding you into the practice of the Transformational Breath pattern.
Lying on your back, during the practice you will be guided to breathe deeply with your diaphragm, as you breathe in a continuous, connected pattern with a relaxed effortless exhale.
I will assist you to open and relax your breath through gentle bodywork and verbal guidance. At different stages during the session I may ask you to make some sounds and movements to help open up your breathing.
How many sessions will you need?
Everyone is different but we usually recommend between 3 – 5 sessions. Once you have learned the technique you can practice as often as you like and it’s free!
How much does it cost?
A full Transformational Breath session is £120 for 2hrs.
