Gentle Vinyasa flow yoga

Choose a gentle Vinyasa Flow yoga class, at a time to suit you.

Vinyasa Flow with Mandy Mountjoy

My class includes some warm up and core work followed by varied and evenly-paced standing sequences, balancing and seated postures. The class follows a natural flow and also includes time to hold a pose for a few breaths to move deeper into the body. Focus is on the breath and sun salutations and time is taken to make mindful observations and still the mind.

Modifications are offered and each class ends in Savasana. All levels are most welcome.

What I love most about my classes at Breath-Works is the warm and welcoming environment. There is a tangible joy and happiness that seems to work its way into the class. Even when contemplating Utkatasana (my much-loved asana), I can’t help smiling!

About Mandy

I am constantly humbled by the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat. The clarity, calmness and strength I experience is what draws me back to my asana practice time and time again.  My personal practice has changed over time and is constantly evolving, but firmly rooted in the foundations of the Ashtanga practice.

Vinyasa Flow with Bethany Halcrow

A warming sequence of movements to warm the body and release tension and fatigue, interspersed with longer held restorative poses to open and unwind. Breathwork and meditation culminate in a long savasana to leave you feeling rested, restored and rejuvenated.

About Bethany

I am a 200 hour yoga teacher and a yoga therapist in training. My main practice for the past 5 years has been Ashtanga, and I use yin and restorative yoga when my body and mind call for a gentler approach. Prior to that I dabbled in many types of yoga. I have trained in mindfulness for around 8 years, and currently I am training in compassion-based practice with the Mindfulness Association. Through my studies in yoga therapy I am gaining an understanding of the biological and neuroscientific underpinnings of various types of asana and pranayama, and it is a joy to be able to apply these principles in my teaching. As well as asana I sing and chant Yogic texts and mantras.
